At workplaces, schools, and military installations, many Americans are facing unconstitutional healthcare mandates that would force them to violate their conscience and their personal judgment about their health.

Recent federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of the Pfizer COVID vaccine has already led to mandates for military service people, while government leaders and liberal candidates are pressuring private companies to require shots for their employees.

Injections of experimental COVID vaccines have proven to be unsafe and ineffective, said Mathew Staver of Liberty Counsel, forcing people to make challenging choices about their freedom and livelihoods. Staver’s organization has been inundated with requests for legal help against mandates—both in the public and private sectors.

“We have never seen anything like this in the 30-plus years of our ministry,” said Staver. “The phones are constantly ringing off the hook, we’re constantly getting emails.”

Facing Challenging Choices

Longstanding members of the military could lose their careers and benefits if they decline injections. Staver cited the experience of one serviceman who enlisted just after the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, and may lose everything he’s worked for. Men and women who served their country and defended Americans’ freedom could face court martial, loss of benefits, and be dishonorably discharged simply for exercising their constitutional rights.

“Those are the kinds of things you should never have in America, and that’s just unbelievable,” said Staver. “These are heroes who went to the front lines.”

Nurses, doctors, and pharmacists are also seeking Liberty Counsel’s help. After being praised by mainstream media as heroes during the 2020 pandemic, many of these same first responders face losing their jobs.

“They worked without these shots and now they’re being told, with very little leeway, ‘get the shots or be terminated,’” said Staver.

According to Staver, healthcare workers gained first-hand knowledge of the experimental injections’ effects while treating vaccine-injured patients. Staver reported a veteran EMS worker as saying that one in five emergency calls are for vaccine-related injuries.

There are enough treatments already available—including nutraceuticals, hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin—outside of the vaccines, said Staver. Beyond that, the safety of the experimental injections comes into question when looking at the statistics.

Vaccine Injuries By the Numbers

According to a summary of data from the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), more than 13,000 vaccine-related deaths were reported in the United States through August 13, along with an additional 13,000 life-threatening conditions caused. More than 54,000 hospitalizations were also attributed to the vaccine.

Sadly, more than 1,600 miscarriages were reported, along with nearly 5,900 heart attacks and over 25,000 severe allergic reactions.

“We’ve had more deaths in seven months, from these three shots—Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson—than in the entire 31 prior years of VAERS . . . from all vaccines combined,” said Staver.

According to Staver, jarring as those statistics are, the real numbers may be far worse.

“The [Centers for Disease Control], in a Harvard study, said that those reported in the VAERS log represents less than 1 percent of actuals,” said Staver. “So you do the math.”

The staggering reports of vaccine-related complications are not limited to the United States.

“Between July 11 and July 24, there were more people admitted to the hospitals in Ontario [Canada] because of injuries from these shots than COVID itself,” said Staver. “One hundred and nine people were admitted from the shot injuries, and 103 were admitted because they had COVID—and that’s happening around the world.”

Liberty Counsel is making legal help and resources available at no charge to those who want to learn more about their rights against COVID vaccine mandates, at LC.org/Exempt. The organization also created a sample letter people may use when claiming a religious exemption from the shots.

Liberty Counsel is hosting daily conference calls for those who are concerned about vaccine mandates at their school, workplace, or other organization. They offer practical support and build a sense of community for those who think they are alone in their concerns and may be wavering on their convictions.

“We are getting all these pleas, that they don’t want to get the shot,” said Staver of those who have reached out to Liberty Counsel. “And they’re getting terminated, they’ll be kicked out of school, or they’ll be court martialed.”

According to emergency use authorization law, under which vaccine mandates were previously being issued, people had the “option to accept or refuse,” said Staver. Now that the FDA has fast tracked approval of the Pfizer vaccine, there are further constitutional protections for public and private workers, students, healthcare providers, and members of the military

“It is illegal for these shots to be forced on anyone,” said Staver. “That is your choice and yours alone.”
