CANDICE STUTZRIEM’S (pronounced “Stutz” “Reem”) is a Canvass board member of El Paso County.
Candice’s Air Force family came to Colorado 15 years ago, ending her husband’s 32 year career at Peterson AFB. A former Air Force Public Affairs Officer, homeschool mom of three and later a Registered Nurse, Candice has now been called a Conservative political activist. She first became involved in political party politics in 2022 as a precinct leader. She began by organizing poll watchers, conducted a county-wide voter roll canvass and now serves as the El Paso County Canvass Board member responsible for certifying elections on behalf of the Republican party. Last fall she stood up a 200 member election integrity task force aimed at securing eight facets of election operations at the county level. Most recently she has turned a laser-focus on preventing Ranked Choice Voting and other efforts to “modernize” Colorado elections from being imposed in Colorado.
