Richard Van Winkle is the Senior Pastor of the Shepherd’s House, in Lewisville, TX. He is a graduate of Melodyland School of Theology and has been in full-time ministry since 1973. He ministers locally, nationally and internationally, and is also a frequent guest-speaker and teacher at Charis Bible College. Rich was called to preach the Gospel as a small boy. After serving in the military he attended seminary and became the pastor of two churches in Kansas. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost brought many changes in his ministry, including, packing up his wife and two small children to attend seminary at Melodyland in Southern California. Rich served as an associate pastor for several years. In the spring of 1990, he and his wife, Dorothy, started The Love Church which later became The Shepherd’s House. Rich & Dorothy are the co-pastors to The Shepherd’s House in Lewisville, Texas. His burning desire to know God has never been quenched. To see the Glory of God manifest to this generation is his heart’s cry! Rich and Dorothy have celebrated over 50 years of marriage. They have four children, two son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law and four grandchildren, who all know and love the Lord Jesus!
