Matt Owen is formally the Student Event manager at Charis Bible College and Andrew Wommack Ministries. In addition to student events, he serves as the Floor Director in all conferences and events, helps in many facets of the live productions and film projects, and is an adjunct faculty in the Film and Production 3rd year school here at the ministry. Matt has a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Ball State University, where upon graduating moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Film and Television. A few years into this journey Matt became very dissatisfied with the lifestyle and industry at large (thanks to his wife Candice) and moved to Colorado to attend Charis Bible College. Andrew’s revelation of the word of God and the teaching at Charis Bible College provided the strong foundation upon which Matt and Candice have built their family on. Upon graduating, Matt and Candice became adjunct faculty teaching in what was then the Creative Arts 3rd year school. Elizabeth Muren’s arrival to the ministry fundamentally changed not only the school, which transitioned to the Film and Production school, but also the hearts of Matt and Candice personally. As gifted artists, Matt and Candice began to understand the heart of God and how to express it in their artistic disciplines. That process of surrendering has unlocked the destiny that God had planned for Matt and his family greater than he could ever imagine. Not only is Matt fulfilling his destiny as an artist, educator, and a storyteller, but also as a husband and a father of 4 beautiful children. He is seeing the fruits of following Jesus reproduced through his children who are also involved in the creative productions. Matt is so grateful for all that the Lord has done and continues to do in his life and is excited for each next step that He guides him through.
