Dr. Eric Wallace is a visionary who earned post-graduate degrees in Biblical Studies (M.A., ThM, Ph.D.), combined with his passion and powerful message, make him one of today’s most powerful voices of Bible-centered reason and change. Eric is the first African American to earn a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Union-PSCE (now Union Presbyterian Seminary). He describes himself as “foremost, a believer in Jesus Christ and servant of God.”

Wallace is outspoken about “the evils of Critical Race Theory (CRT)” — speaking recently about CRT at NRB 2023 during the panel discussion “Dangerous Implications of Woke Ideologies,” at the For God and Country Biblical Worldview Intensive at the World Outreach Center in Newport News, Va., and at the Conservative Minority Convention (CMC) in Dallas-Fort Worth.
In 2011, Wallace and his wife, Jennifer, founded Freedom’s Journal Institute (FJI) for the Study of Faith and Public Policy, an Illinois-based nonprofit organization designed to “advance the Kingdom of God through socio-political, education and engagement.” Pledging to continue the work of Samuel E. Cornish and John B. Russwurm, co-founders of America’s Black Press, the Wallaces aim to “give African Americans a voice to plead our own cause…too long has the public been deceived by misrepresentation of things which concern us deeply.” In 2013, they organized the first Black Conservative Summit. The next summit will be held in Washington DC, April 4-6, 2024.
Since 2020, “Kingdoms in Konflict (KiK): A Matter of Faith, Race, and Public Policy,” a T.V. production of Freedom’s Journal Institute hosted by Wallace, has tackled socio-political issues from a biblically conservative worldview reaching more than 39 million potential viewers on NRB Network, TLN Network, and online at FreedomsJournalInstitute.org.
