In addition to serving as CEO of Liberty Sentinel Media, Inc. and hosting nationally syndicated radio and TV programs, Alex has written for a wide array of publications in the U.S. and abroad. He currently serves as a contributor to The Epoch Times, a correspondent for The Law Enforcement Intelligence Brief, a senior editor for The New American magazine, a writer for WND (World Net Daily), a contributor to GEORGE magazine, an education writer for FreedomProject Media, a columnist for the Illinois Family Institute, and much more. Alex has appeared on Fox, Newsmax, OAN, NTD, Real America’s Voice, TBN, CTN, and many other networks, and has been a regular guest on top national radio shows. He has also been featured in numerous education documentaries and docuseries in recent years, including Fox’s popular MisEducation of America and Kirk Cameron’s The Homeschool Awakening.
In addition, Alex has authored and co-authored several books. One of his major works was an exposé of government schools with internationally renowned Dr. Samuel Blumenfeld called Crimes of the Educators.
He has also written books exposing the “Deep State,” Obama, World Federalism, and more. In 2019, following a speaking tour on education called “Rescuing Our Children” that took him to 45 states and multiple countries, Alex and a coalition of Christian leaders formed “Public School Exit,” the nation’s premier ministry rescuing American children from government “education.” The organization is facilitating an exodus from public schools by raising awareness and knocking down barriers for families and churches.
For over a decade, Alex taught advanced economics to high school seniors through FreedomProject Academy, an accredited K–12 235 Christian school offering a classical education. He now serves on the board. Alex also has an education blog called The Newman Report for FreedomProject Media, an affiliate of the school. He serves on numerous boards and advisory boards for education-focused organizations, too.
Alex has lived in eight countries on four continents and attended elite international schools growing up. He and his wife homeschool their five children.
